Your American Cancer Society’s
Look
Good...Feel Better Program
Cancer can rob a woman of her energy, appetite and strength... But it does not have to take away her self-confidence. Look Good Feel Better is a free program that teaches beauty techniques to adult, female cancer patients in active treatment to help them combat the appearance-related side effects of treatment. Trained, volunteer cosmetologists teach women how to cope with skin changes and hair loss using cosmetics and skin care products donated by the cosmetic industry. The free cosmetic kits provided at these group sessions are available in light, medium, dark and extra dark shades to enhance all complexion types. The women also learn ways to disguise hair loss with wigs, scarves and other accessories. Each patient receives a free makeup kit to use during the session & to take home (valued between $300-$350).

2010 Calendar
All sessions will be held from 2:00-4:30 p.m.
